School may be starting up and fall seems like it is just around the corner! But in Central Oregon we like to enjoy the summer fun up until the very end.  There is still plenty to do in September! From concerts, free movies, athletic events, community yoga and Oktoberfest! Be sure to soak  up the last of the warmth and Central Oregon fun before fall is officially here.

Home Free, In Concert: Enjoy country music? Then be sure to catch this a cappella group singing some country favorites at the Tower Theater on 9/4.  This group was crowned Sing-Off Champions last December.  Tickets range from $20-$35.

Sisters Folk Festival:  If folk music is your style enjoy this 3 day festival featuring music from folk, blue grass, to blues.  This year, 45 artists/bands will be featured from 9/5 – 9/7 in Sisters Oregon.

Base Camp Studio: Interested in art and the artistic process?  Check out this painting marathon starting during the First Friday Festivities 9/5 at Crows Feet Commons.  This public event is a painting marathon where numerous artists work on collaborative projects.

Northwest Crossing Munch & Movies:  Grab a chair, a blanket, some popcorn and enjoy family friendly movies in Compass Park in Northwest Crossing.  From fan favorites to newer releases.  Everyone is going to enjoy this free event:

5th Annual Yogis Unite! Bend: Spend 2 days stretching, breathing and centering during this community wide event.  Offering community yoga classes from 9/6-9/7 in three different locations in Bend.

Great Drake Park Duck Race: Support local non-profits and enjoy an end of summer tradition.  Food, music  and activities will kick off this event in Drake park followed by the Duck Races with various prizes on 9/7/14

Uncorked, Sunriver Style: Enjoy great wine, delicious food and the beauty of SunRiver at this event. 30 Pacific Northwest Wineries will be featured at this event.  Grab a Pinot Nior, some chocolate and enjoy live music!

Les Miserable: This classic musical production will come to Bend on 9/12/14.  Enjoy the thrilling story line of Jean Valjean set in revolutionary France at the Tower Theater.

Oregon Festival of Cars: An event for car lovers, featuring Ferrari & Maserati.  The proceeds of this event benefit the Human Society of Central Oregon.  Event takes place on 9/13 at the Broken Top Club.

Oktobercrest At Eagle Crest Resort: Kick off Ocktoberfest activities at Eagle Crest on 9/13.  Plenty of beers, food, live music, 5k run and lots of other great events!

Wild & Scenic Film Festival: This event is the beginning of Wilderness Weekend on 9/18 at the Old Stone Church.  This film festival will feature scenic and picturesque films about the beautiful wilderness.

Oktoberfest – Like Baverian food?  Or curious to try jagerschnitzel!? Then stop by Downtown Bend on 9/19-9/20 to enjoy this festival.  Plenty of great food, music, activities and beer!  All proceeds go towards the beautification of Downtown Bend.

Lithia Pacific Amateur Golf Classic:  Watch some amazing amateur golfers or participate yourself in Sunriver.  Enjoy beautiful golf course and accompanying activities 9/20-9/25

Ride Hard Finish Thirsty Cyclocross:  Cycling is a big deal in Bend, Oregon! If you are an avid cyclist then grab you bike, helmet and consider participating in this cyclocross event.  These races take place near Boneyard Brewery 9/20-9/21

Heart, In Concert: Love 70s & 80s music?  Then grab tickets to this classic rock concert coming to the Les Schwab Amphitheater on 9/22.

Central Oregon Fall Fling For Women: Event for women featuring products in beauty, fitness, business and much more.  Taking place at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds/Expo Center 9/27-9/28

Swinging with the Stars:  Support a great cause and watch dancers of Central Oregon perform at this for charity event at the Tower Theater on 9/27/14.

Smith Rock Ranch: Enjoy the best that fall has to offer at the Smith Rock Ranch open 9/27-11/1.  Activities from a corn maze, pumpkin patch, horse drawn carriage rides, pony rides, and much more kids and adults alike are sure to have a great time!
