January Events in Central Oregon 2015


44th Annual Polar Bear Bike Ride: Join Hutches West Bend on 1/1/15 for their annual Polar Bear Bike ride to kick off the New Year!  The event begins at their eastside location at 10:00am.  This riding tour is free of charge.

Resolution Run: Start off your new year on the right foot!  Enjoy a non-competitive run on 1/1/15 at the Sisters Athletic Club and support the Sisters Kiwanis Club food bank.  Run starts at 10 am and features a 5 mile and 5k run.

Film: The River They Saw:  Stop by the High Desert Museum  on 1/8/15 for this special filming event about the Columbia Gorge.  Film features stunning photography of the Gorge.1/8/15

Polar Bear Fun Run:  Help support St. Thomas Academy of Redmond while jump starting your New Year’s resolution.  This family friendly fun run takes place on 1/10/15 and features a 5k and 10k in Redmond.  Great event for families!

Bendbroadbands Jazz at the Oxford: 5th annual Jazz Series begins at the Oxford Hotel on 1/16/15. Featured artists for the month of January  is famous trumpeter, Randy Becker

Spirit of the West Day:  This annual event at the High Desert Museum on 1/17/15.  Featruing live performers and exhibits about the old west.

2nd Annual High Gravity Extravaganza:   Enjoy a beer and live music at this 2nd annual event celebrating the High Desert.  Meet brewers around the firepits at Mcmenamins from 1:00-5:00 pm on 1/17/15.

The Big Lebowski:  Stop by the tower theater to enjoy a screening of the Big Lebowski on 1/17/15 at 7:00 pm.  Sponsored by Worthy Brewing

Peking Acrobats:  Be amazed by the acrobatic moves of the Perking Acrobats at the Tower Theater on  1/18/15

Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real:  Enjoy the musical stylings on Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real at the Tower Theater on 1/24/15.  Participate in a mobile bidding auction which benefits the Bend Surgery Center Foundation
