 Home Staging:

ChicKaren Harling & Vicki Everson, Chic Shanties:  In March of 2007 they traveled to Napa, California for their certification course through IRIS (Interior Redesign Industry Specialists). After becoming certified they opened their business and have since worked throughout Central Oregon. They have been published in True North magazine, were featured along with other designers in Central Oregon New Home Living, and published by the Bulletin. Also, they taught a decorating class at the former Design Center in Redmond. They have volunteered our services to Habitat for Humanity. Using furniture and accessories from the Bend ReStore, and staged their Tour of Home properties.

Both have lived in Central Oregon for over twenty years and have been friends for most of that time.  After raising their children, they decided to start a new venture combining their friendship and mutual enjoyment of decorating. Staging seemed to be a natural avenue for them.
They find bouncing ideas off each other  and trying new designs/arrangements rewarding. They enjoy working with homeowners and realtors and find the whole process fulfilling.
